POR DO SOL VIVENDA is a beautiful 4 bed / 4 bath villa which comfortably sleeps 8-10 people. It has its own 10m x 5m heated pool, fully equipped terrace and superb gardens. It is gated, with off road parking, airconditioning, exceptionally well equipped in a plot size of one third to one half acre. Games, DVDs, inflatables and set of golf clubs all included.
It is located outside the small village of Moncarapacho, close ot Quelfes, Olhao and Estoi amongst other executive villas Only 20/25 mins from Faro airport in the beautiful and unspoilt Eastern Algarve..
The surrounding area is unspoilt and known for its extensive citrus groves. There are glorious beaches and beach islands nearby, the closest being at Fuseta 5 miles away. There are five golf courses all within 20+ mins to the East including the championship Quinta de Cima golf course, named in the 2004/05 Peugeot Golf Guide as the Best Golf Course in Portugal. Easy access to all the Central Algarve golf course in Villamoura, Quinta da Lago, approx 25 mins by car.
Moncarapacho is approx 5 mins drive from the villa with supermarkets, bank, petrol station, quiet bars, restaurants, dentist, pharmacy, museum and other shops.
Olhao with wonderful markets and restaurants approx 7-8 mins by car.
The villa is of the highest specification - with marble floors throughout, stylish modern furniture, with its own 10m x 5m heated pool at the rear of the property. The fully equipped pool terrace has a BBQ, sun loungers and a large table with seating for 8/10 persons. We even supply beach/pool towels so no need to bring your own. There is deep shade for hotter months. There is a superb second seating area in the garden with pergola and large stone table and benches from which you can fully enjoy the exceptionally well designed garden. The owners are enthusiasts - you will not be disappointed.
PLEASE NOTE: The pool will be heated FREE OF CHARGE mid March to end October There is an obligatory extra charge of £85/wk for aircon (cool and warm).
There are 4 spacious bedrooms, which comfortably sleep 8 (2 twins, 2 doubles) but the villa can accommodate 10 people by using a sturdy portable folding bed and cot. There are 4 luxury bathrooms (2 are ensuite). All rooms have extensive fitted cupboards and there is a digital safe fitted in the villa.
The master bedroom on the first floor has its own private balcony and there is also a furnished roof terrace to enjoy the views and the sunshine.
The marble topped kitchen has everything you could wish for including dishwasher and there is a washing machine in the utility room.
The exceptionally large lounge - with large dining area off - comfortably seats 8-10 with open fireplace, satellite TV (with BBC and ITV channels), DVD which also plays CDS. There are doors leading to the pool and terrace.
There are plenty of books, DVDs and games in the villa for your use. There is also a full set of golf clubs should you wish to play in one of the many golf courses.
Car hire essential to fully enjoy the area.
There is a lovely landscaped garden with additional seating beyond the pool terrace, under a pergola which comfortably seats 10-12 people.
The villa is within easy distance of Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace now being developed into a pousada and Roman ruins), Olhao (fishing port, markets, many fish restaurants and shopping), Vila Real (16th century town on the Spanish border) and much much more. Close by you can travel by ferry boat to many offshore beaches. Seville can be reached within 90 minutes, Lisbon is approximately 2.5 hours away. The roads and motorways are excellent. Alternatively within 30 mins driving west you can access major central Algarve towns and attractions .... or you could just relax around the pool and enjoy doing absolutely nothing!!
For those with quieter tastes the nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and birdwatching. This is a truly unspoilt part of the Algarve where eating out on wonderful local fish and wine is still surprisingly inexpensive.
