ExtrasThis property overlooks the 1st and 2nd Fairways of this championship Golf course at Boavista. Residents are entitled to discounted rounds of golf if they present their guests cards on booking. There is a small charge for use of the tennis courts and these can be booked at the golf club reception desk. The swimming pool has a childrens pool too. babysitting facilites are also available as well as the hire of cots etc.

The wide sandy beaches of Meia Praia and Praia dAna are within 5 minutes drive so is the popular watersports beach of Luz.
Boavista Golf opened on 1st January 2002, the impressive 18 Hole Championship golf course has been designed by Howard Swan MSc, past president of The European Institute of Golf Course Architects.His philosophy - to create a course as if it has always been there - has been sensitively applied at Boavista, preserving, integrating and harmonising with the areas natural terrain.

A car is a must and there are at least four companies which hire them direct from Faro airport(contact me if you need advice). The journey is then a simple drive down the motorway to the beautiful parts of the western algarve. There are some lovely rugged parts of the coastlines with secluded beaches a short distance drive from the apartment which means if you want to go for long walks away from people this is possible. If you want bars and restaurants then Lagos is a very short taxi ride and it also has lovely markets and shops. It would suit both those wanting a more active/beach/family holiday, or avid golf lovers as well as those wanting to get away from it all.
