about usLanzarote is the fourth largest Canary Island, best known for what has been described as its 'Martian' landscape, a result of its volcanic origin. The Island is home to the Atlantida Tunnel, the worlds longest Volcanic Tunnel, reaching over 7 kilometres in length. Regardless of its volcanic landscape, Lanzarote is in possession of a number of dazzling white beaches. Other attractions of the island include the Lanzarote Aquarium, the largest in the Canary Islands, where hundreds of marine species can be viewed. Holiday makers can enjoy the island's unique Natural Auditorium, located in the Jameos Del Agua, and part of the Atlantida cave structure. In addition one can visit the Timanfaya National Park, and take delight in the rare species of plants, be awed by the fantastic demonstrations of the boiling temperatures a mere few metres below the earth's crust, not to mention the spectacular scenery.
