The villa is in the most perfect place in Playa Blanca- close to the shops and restaurants, which are a five minute walk away. But the complex remains quiet and restful. Apartment excellently situation from airport (15 mins) and bars/shops (5 mins walk).
Wouldn't recommend though for 4 people as it's too much of a squeeze and the poor people who draw the short straw of sleeping on the sofa bed have to put up with daylight streaming through the curtains in the morning! ...

The proximity to shops was excellent and was also in a good position for both the old town and harbour and sea, beaches and restaurants. Lanzarote is the fourth largest Canary Island, best known for what has been described as its 'Martian' landscape, a result of its volcanic origin. The Island is home to the Atlantida Tunnel, the worlds longest Volcanic Tunnel, reaching over 7 kilometres in length. Regardless of its volcanic landscape, Lanzarote is in possession of a number of dazzling white beaches. Other attractions of the island include the Lanzarote Aquarium, the largest in the Canary Islands, where hundreds of marine species can be viewed. Holiday makers can enjoy the island's unique Natural Auditorium, located in the Jameos Del Agua, and part of the Atlantida cave structure. In addition one can visit the Timanfaya National Park, and take delight in the rare species of plants, be awed by the fantastic demonstrations of the boiling temperatures a mere few metres below the earth's crust, not to mention the spectacular scenery.
