If solitude,chillout and relaxing away from it all in a mountain forest background, in sunshine, in a homely villa is your thing its hard to beat. However, it is 25minutes to beaches, main local attractions and larger towns. I was very greatful to be able to stay for less than a week - not many places are all that keen on letting a place for justa cpouple of nights. The welcome basket of tea, coffee, wine and milk was extremely welcome. The whole place was very comfortable and quiet. The kitchen had all you needed and everything seemed to work! This was the nicest property we have stayed in for a long time!
The house was superb and surpassed all our expectations - there was everything you could possibly need in this beautiful house.

The villa was lovely and in a nice setting a couple of kilometres from Monchique. Everything was clean and in good order. The pool was great to cool off in even though it was a bit on the small side, however we saw hardly any other private pools in the area so more than happy overall. ...
