The villa met all our expectations and more, rare in my experience. I would certainly return. Lovely views, well furnished, very clean and well judged support from the very friendly owners, offering help and advice if needed. The local countryside is beautiful and unspoilt. Absolutely fabulous, villa, weather, staff, scenery exceptional. Will definately be booking again. Surrounding countryside is beautiful, local people friendly, only short trip to nearby towns and villages for buying groceries - fresh meat, fruit and veg and fish straight off the boats. ...

We went as a large group (9) 5 adults 4 children and the villa was very spacious. Very clean, well furnished, very welcoming and well looked after.
The pool was fab for adults but any child that could not swim was permantely out of their depth. Shallow end says 1.2 metres. It was deeper if anything. To deep for none swimmers. ...

This villa is in an excellent location with a really big pool area and a good size pool. The villa is quite rustic and basic but we really enjoyed that aspect. It is quite a big villa and there was more than enough space for us as a family of five. The upstairs shower will not accomodate a giant but apart from that everything was really first class....

This was the utmost in a relaxing holiday area, no clubs, bars or noisy neighbours. This is our idea of a perfect holiday location, near the town with plenty of shops to cater for our needs and of course the traditional holiday presents. The weather was fantastic during the whole of our stay (21st June to 3rd July 2008). The villa was excellently ...

Quinta Da Horta is a modernised farmhouse, that has been done without losing any of its charm, set in lovely gardens with a pool that is shared with the other Quinta and views beyond of the surrounding hills, that give it the much needed cooling breeze.
