This is the real Portugal, a brilliant place to chill out and catch up with yourself. We spent many hours cooling off in the little lake and swimming pool. Alex and Karin were perfect hosts and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, we hope to keep in touch. The food was wonderful and the Alentejo lamb is the best we've ever tasted! ...

We were two families of four holidaying together, and we were all very impressed with the quality of the accommodation. This is a very beautiful house.
There was plenty of room for all of us,and a high standard of decoration throughout.
The kitchen was extremely well equipped,allowing us to enjoy cooking together, and the daily deliveries of fresh ...

Remote and out of the way - with local facilities within 10 mins drive!
This is a sanctuary, through the gates and nothing but peace, rest and tranquility. The hosts (Alex and Yvonne) were fun and unintrusive.
The lake was perfect for swimming and larking about in, the kids (14 & 16 and 43 !) had an excellent time chilling, and want to come back.

The owners were very friendly, excellent hosts and spoke good English; the property was very nice and well equipped.
Only downside for me was that I did not realise the private pool was at the owners property and not directly with the house on the lake - so I swam in the lake!
If I wanted to go to that particular area again, I would certainly ...

We had an extremely warm welcome from our friendly and hospitable hosts. The villa exceeded our expectations and was wonderful value for money. We stayed for the second part of our Honeymoon. Our hosts, Alex and Kiran could not have made us felt more welcome; we had privacy when we needed it and were always welcome at the bar when in need of a drink!
