Property is excellent and in a very peaceful spot with superb views to Serchio valley and the surrounding mountains. High standard of refurbishment in the property itself which is accompanied by a large swimming pool (certainly much larger than current photos on this site would suggest). Access to the house is via a narow road which, if you don't ...

The house is set in an olive grove (containing one of the oldest in Italy) with magnificent views around - M. San Calagero close by and the mountain town of Caltabellotta (definitely worth a visit) in the distance. Doris is an ideal hostess, welcoming, unobtrusive, but always there if needed. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable with a ...

Villa was absolutely superb and exceeded all our expectations. Really impressed with the facilities in the villa, particularly the wood burner on the cold evenings. Made an ideal base for visiting Tuscany the surrounding area and was very peaceful. The food parcel was greatly appreciated and came in very handy on the day of our arrival. Roz and ...

Ago's Casa consists of a traditional barrel-vaulted room with a bedroom on a mezzanine and kitchen and bathroom downstairs. It is very comfortable for two people, probably a bit cramped for three or four. Parking is a bit hit and miss, but we almost always found space just up the street. The best thing about it is the location - two minutes walk ...

The property was accurately described and was everything we could have asked for. It is very clean and modern and we were given assistance by the property manager when required. The location is ideal for access to Salo town centre on foot. There is a busy road to cross and a number of steps down to the centre but we were aware of these ...

Nothing but praise for this superb property , in a lovely location with fantastic views across the valley . Just the place to get away from it all , while at the same time providing all modern day "essentials" like satellite tv , music system and the internet . Will definitely re-visit and would definitely recommend it to others . ...

We had a fantastic stay.
The house was clean, tidy and with a wonderfully eclectic library ranging from Carlos Casteneda in English through Barbara Cartland, Japrisot in French and Calvino in Italian.
The wooded gardens with the sound of the river was a marvellous place to eat at any time of the day. Bagni di Lucca itself has some decent ...

Having located the propery, thanks to some much needed help - in English - on the phone, from the owners, we arrived at the villa. The accomodation was spacious, comfortable and exactly what we wanted and we were made to feel really welcome - almost one of the family - by the owners! The sunsets were superb, the local supermarket excellent and ...
